I have spent a lot of my time in and out of psychiatric hospitals. In 2021 I was deemed well enough to move to a supported living place (essentially a care home) for three years. Unfortunately I was suffering from acute panic attacks, occurring at least every three days. I would hear voices and be terrified. I have had panic attacks in the doctor’s surgery, swimming pool, local Coop shop, and countless other times in my supported living house. I had terrible anxiety that I might have a panic attack in a public place....

I love walking - especially in beautiful areas of the world. It is my idea to write about majestic places that we only get the chance to climb only very occasionally, if we're lucky.
I used to be super, super fit when I was younger but recently my bipolar disorder has got the better of me due to a reliance on strong and powerful medications such as Clozapine and Lithium. I'm over weight, I have high blood pressure, I have high cholesterol, gall stones, kidney damage due to lithium, and pre-diabetes. Life is not easy for me as a bipolar sufferer..
I really want to get healthy again so I'm able to go on these super beautiful walks again. I'm usually out of breath at the sight of any hill..
